Lawson Middle School PTA 

The lawson PTA Direct Donation is a contribution by Lawson families that directly supports programs and events such as educational seminars for parents and teacher appreciation events such as the "Welcome Back Coffee" and mid-year lunches or brunches. We also contribute through the year to WEB events, assemblies, and to graduation ceremonies, in addition to contributing directly to special or ad-hoc classroom requests.  

With a family donation of $85.00 at the start of the school year we contribute greatly to raising the spirits of our children and our teachers, ensuring that special events are fun, joyful, and varied; and we support our teachers by providing them with small "scholarships" or gifts that allow them to enrich the classroom experience. We support our families by providing them with informative, illuminating or thought-provoking topics in assemblies or in smaller venues such as evening seminars. 

Please do not confuse this direct donation program with the fund-raising drive "Their Future is Now - TFIN".  While that fund-raising was much larger in scope, with a much larger target, this donation directly benefits Sam H. Lawson students, teachers, and families.  We are able to do so much with what we hope is a modest contribution. We greatly appreciate your donation of $85 - however, donations of any amount are welcome!  Please use the envelope provided in your start-of-the-year packet.  There is room on the envelope for the direct donation and the PTA membership and directory.
