Teenage Secrets: What’s Trust Got to do With it?: What’s a parent to do when they find out their seemingly well-adjusted and happy teen has secrets that may be harmful to themselves or others? How do parents approach them? What do teens need from parents to feel safe to open up and share?
Our teens are walking that fine line between being children and becoming an adult. As they make this journey they are faced with challenges and situations that could benefit from the experience and perspectives of an adult. We can be there for them but will they be open to receiving the wisdom of our years? Only if there's trust.
In this presentation, we along with a student panel, will be speaking to and sharing what teens feel about secrets and trust. It’s an evening of open communication and insights you won’t want to miss.
