The end of the year is sneaking up on us! I hope you can join us for the last PTA meeting of the year on Wednesday, June 3rd at 7:15pm in the Library. We will celebrate the end of a wonderful year!
We moved the PTA meeting to Wednesday this month, so everyone can come to Sports Booster Night on Thursday, June 4th at 6 pm in the Event Center. Sports Booster Night is the annual event to acknowledge all of the after school sports teams and name the team's Most Valuable player. It is a chance for the whole school to see the many teams that represented Lawson in the afterschool sports program that competes in the Valley Junior High School Athletic League.
Next Monday, June 8th is Inflatables Day and Yearbook Distribution. If you can help out, we still need 5 parents per shift to help!
Shift 2: 10:30 - 12:30 (6th & 8th grades)
Shift 3: 1:00 - 3:00 (7th & 8th grades)

Graduation will be on Friday, June 12th at 4pm in the field. The Graduation party for the 8th graders will be from 7pm – 10pm. Parents of 8th graders will not be allowed on the school grounds during the party, so please do not ask. One of the ways you can see it is to come and help us set up in the gym on June 5 - 4pm-8pm, June 6 – 9am -6pm, June 7 – 9am-6pm. If you would like to see the gym after the party, we would love for parents to come and help for half an hour to help clean up! We hope to have an evening preview during the last week of school for parents to see the party room so stay tuned, or come to help to ensure you get to see the room in all its glory.
6th and 7th grade parents are still needed to help with chaperoning and manning the game booths. Please check the Graduation Tab above to find all the information for Graduation and volunteering for this great event for our graduates. Parents of 6th and 7th graders, this is a great time to help out and check out what Lawson parents have done for the graduates. The Graduation party is completely planned and executed by parents and your children will be graduating soon! It is a memorable event for the kids and a wonderful tradition.
