The Ceremony Committee has started signing up volunteers interested to help out on the Graduation Day - Wedneday, June 9th, 2010.  The jobs are listed below.

Special Notes:

Ceremony Jobs:

Job 1- One person to keep track of this list of volunteers (and send reminders later).  It just takes an eye for detail and access to email. If you are interested and available, let me know.

Job 2 - Three Field liners (I am willing the be the third person for this job).  Paint lines down on the grass a few days before graduation day. If you have ever done this job for soccer or some other sport - it would be helpful, but not necessary.

Job 3 - Ten parents between ~8:30am - 11:30 to help with set up.  This entails overseeing the kids that will help place the chairs on the field for the ceremony, and helping to decorate the stage.

Job 4 - One person to "babysit" the field between the time of school dismissal and when people begin arriving.  ~12:30 - 3:30.  Just bring a good book to read and relax :)

Job 5 - Two people to sit at the "Command Center", just prior to, and during the ceremony. Help people locate their reserved seating on the seating chart, answer misc. questions.  3:30pm - end of ceremony (5:30)

Job 6 - Eight Crowd Control/Ushers.  Help people get seated and help to enforce the rules of etiquette that the school will be distributing (e.g., remain seated, no umbrellas) during the ceremony (3:30 - 5:30)

Job 7 - Six Tear-down/Clean up.  Lead and help the High school students that will un-decorate the stage,  taking down and storing items in the PTA closet, moving items to gym that will be used during the dance.
