The Lawson PTA held its 4th Welcome Back Family Picnic on Thursday, September 25th from 5 to 7pm. Families were invited to bring their own dinner and enjoy ice creams sundaes that were scooped & sold by a dozen PTA volunteers. With the warm weather, it was a great opportunity for parents to meet, and also greet and talk with their child's teachers. Staff members and teachers also brought their families for this socializing time that was enhanced by music and games for all the children on the field. WEB students did a great job assisting the event. PTA board members invited parents to join the PTA and proposed them various opportunities to volunteer at the school.
