Thank you for all of your support of Measure B. It passed with 70% approval! The added funds will save jobs in our district and allow us to maintain the great educational standards that Cupertino is known for.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. I hope you will encourage your child to show their appreciation to their teachers with a note of gratitude. We will be ending this week with an all School fully catered Teacher Luncheon. We welcome monetary contributions since that greatly helps our budget and planning. Please drop off your contributions at the School Office in an envelope addressed to "Kathy Fuji: Staff Appreciation!" Checks need to be made out to " Lawson PTA". Thank you for making this event a huge success in expressing our appreciation for the job our teachers do every day.
Also on Friday, May 15th, the PTA is sponsoring an assembly for each grade level with the founder of WEB. The parents are invited to attend. The schedule for the morning is listed below and I hope you can fit one of the assemblies into your schedule.

Please join us on Thursday in the Library for the May PTA meeting. We will be discussing the formation of a Foundation for Lawson and how the PTA will participate in that process.
Attention all golfers! The CEEF (Cupertino Education Endowment Foundation) will be holding their annual Golf Tournament on June 22, 2009 at the Stanford University Golf Course. This is a great opportunity to play on the Stanford Course which is not generally open to the public so do not pass up this opportunity! You can register online at www.ceefcares.org.
