The Sedgwick School PTA is very excited to help sponsor a parent lecture titled “Unconditional Parenting: Beyond Bribes and Threats” by Alfie Kohn. This thought-provoking lecture will show how rewards and punishments are counter productive and wil provide ideas forworking with children to help them grow into healthy, caring, responsible people. Alfie Kohn, a highly regarded speaker and expert on education and parenting, the author of eleven books and has appeared twice on “Oprah,” as well as on many other TV and radio programs.
