Congratulations to Mr. Cellini on his recent promotion to principal at Montclaire Elementary School. Our loss is Montclaire Elementary School’s gain.  We will miss Mr. Cellini who has been at the heart of Lawson since its inception.   His last day was Friday and he had to leave at noon to meet with the leadership at Montclaire.  We wanted to let the kids say good-bye so we hosted a cake reception on Thursday at 3pm.  I am sorry for the short notice but we only confirmed his promotion on Wednesday evening. He promised to be back to serve on our Technology Foundation when it is finalized (his kids will eventually be at Lawson). The announcement studio has been renamed in his honor so his contribution to Lawson will be remembered; it is now called the Mike Cellini Studio.  We will miss him.

The first Teacher Appreciation Lunch will be this Friday, Oct. 24.  “Autumn Harvest” will be hosted by the eighth grade parents and I hope you can help us make our staff feel appreciated with a contribution of food or your time or both!  Please contact  if you can help.  Thank  you for your help in making it a great event for our teachers.
