The annual Book Fair is this week! With the current budget issues, the Book Fair will be the main source of funding for the coming year, so I hope you can come and help us keep our library well stocked and stock up for your child’s classroom, or for your child’s summer reading. Please bring a picnic dinner and enjoy this beautiful spring weather from 5:30-7:30pm on Wednesday evening. The PTA will have ice cream treats available for a quarter ($.25) so you will have lots of money left to spend at the Book Fair!
Please join us in the Library at 5:45pm on Wednesday to recognize the Reflections participants, the Destination Imagination teams and our PTA honorees for their service to Lawson this past year. It is a wonderful opportunity to come together to celebrate the successes we have enjoyed together this year.
At our next PTA meeting on Wednesday, April 9th at 7:15pm in the Library, we will be voting on the PTA Board for the coming school year. The proposed slate of Officers has been submitted by the Nominating committee. Please check the posting above under "Current" .
I hope you can come and show your support for these wonderful volunteers who want to help make Lawson a wonderful place for our kids.
