Dear Parents,
With Thanksgiving this week, I am so thankful for all of the wonderful volunteers we have at Lawson. Thank you so much to all of the parents who volunteer in so many ways. The parents who help out the teachers making copies each week, the parents who drive kids to meets and bring snacks and organize Coach’s gifts, those who help in the office as well as those who respond to our e-mail calls for help, every little bit helps to make Lawson a great place to be. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I am thankful for each one of you! I know the kids are too!

PS: Last week, one of our Lawson students was hit by a car on his way to school. He is fine now, but it is a reminder for all of us to be careful. I hope that we will all be especially careful around Lawson where each student is your child’s friend, classmate or neighbor. Please remember in California, pedestrians always have the right of way. No meeting, or class, or appointment is worth pain and suffering to one of our kids so “Give the Kids a Brake”.
