The 6th grade Halloween Carnival was great fun for the kids. There was golfing, tic tac toe games, checkers, cookie decorating, snacks, a movie, facepainting, the dunk tank, and more! I do not think that any 6th grader could have done every activity that was available. Thanks to all the great teachers, parent volunteers and WEB leaders who made it a great event for our 6th graders.
Our next PTA meeting will be on November 13th at 7:15 pm in the Library. Karl Sonntag, our principal, will be updating us on the search for a new Vice-Principal. He knows that we have high expectations and assures us that he will find the best candidate to fit into Lawson. He will also be presenting information about the digital portfolio that will accompany each student through their years at Lawson, so we hope you can join us to hear about this exciting new program.
