The deadline for our Reflections program is this Wednesday, Oct. 15th.  I hope any student who is interested will be sure to participate in this wonderful national arts competition.  The application can be obtained in the school office.  The State winners will be exhibited at the PTA convention in San Jose this April, so we could celebrate any of our students who might progress that far.

The meeting for the 8th graders trip to Yosemite will also be on Wednesday evening.  If your 8th grader wants to go on the Yosemite trip which is a highlight for the kids, be sure to bring your checkbook to make your deposit to guarantee a spot otherwise your child will be placed on the waiting list.

Our first Staff Appreciation luncheon is coming up on Friday, October 24th  with a “Autumn Harvest” theme. The 8th grade parents will be hosting this luncheon.  Please contact Kathy Fujii ( ) if you can help in any way.
