Thank you to all who came for the graduation meeting and the first PTA meeting of this new school year on Thursday September 11th. It was wonderful to have you! Thank you also to Kat Tatley, the student representative, who gave us a report of what is happening on campus.
We have received over $47,000 in total donations so far! Thank you for your generous donations to allow us to have programs that will enrich our community here at Lawson.
Please join us for the Annual Welcome Back Picnic on Thursday, Sept 25th from 5-7pm on the field. Please bring your family and pack a dinner for an evening of games and ice cream. The PTA will have an Ice Cream Social with ice cream sundaes available for $1. We could use some help scooping so if you are available, please bring your scooper and let our volunteer coordinator know!
We are also looking for volunteers with marketing and product development experience to give a lunch-time seminar to students. The staff is initiating an entrepreneurial opportunity for the kids and asked for professional help from our parent community .
